Terms and conditions of use
All orders will be sent by Australia Post or via Courier. The choice of transit will be decided at point of dispatch and will be chosen on the best combination of speed, safety and price. If you require a specific courier please contact us prior to purchase to discuss as extra charges may be needed.
If your order is time sensitive then please ensure Express Post is chosen at checkout or contact us during the order process to talk you through this.
Orders will be packed securely and sent once production is completed, all orders will be sent with tracking and insurance against loss. Tracking numbers will be attached to your order and can be viewed by logging into your account at any time.
You will receive a dispatch notfication once your order has been sent so you are informed on when roughly to expect your delivery.
Any orders that are "lost" during transit will be replaced by Giftware Direct free of charge. For an order to be classed as lost the chosen courier must advise that the parcel is lost and cannot be found. Insurance against breakage or damage during postage can also be taken out as an option during checkout. This insurance will mean that we will replace any damaged items during postage by simply supplying a photo showing the damage. Without taking out this insurance and damage during postage will be at the buyers expense.
Delivery time frames are all estimates and rely entirely on 3rd party courier companies such as Auustralia Post. We can only provide estimates based off what we are told from couriers.
Giftware Direct will not be liable for any delays in freight from 3rd party couriers/post. This means no refunds will be given if an order misses an event due to delayed or slow delivery times. Giftware Direct can only ensure that our production and dispatch times are met.
Production Times and Shipping
All production times described are approximate only and may very depending on staff and machine restraints, specifically at busier times of the year. With this in mind whenever we see an item is needed for a specific date we will always ensure your order is dispatched within time, or contact you if there is going to be any issues. On most occasions our approximate production times are quite accurate. Shipping times will vary depending on location, please contact us for more details.
All of our orders include free tracking, postage insurance and also breakage/damage insurance for peace of mind.
Artwork approvals will be sent for all orders over $100 in value. For orders under $100 value (excluding shipping) your order will move straight into production for a speedy service. When supplying details your agree that you have double checked all information and confirm all are correct. After this point Giftware Direct holds no responsibility if there may be errors in your submission. If by any chance there is a mistake on our behalf we will gladly fix or replace your order free of charge, depending on the severity of the issue we will determine if it can be fixed or will need replacement.
All products descriptions and product images are prepared as accurately as possible. Some times there may be slight variations in materials, sizes and product colour which is unavoidable with the nature of our products. We reserve the right assess any issues as they arise on an individual basis. If we see the issue as being major and affecting the products use we will offer a repalcement or refund. If the issue is determined as minor and not affecting the use of the product a refund or replacement may not be offered.
With the nature of the products we sell there may be slight imperfections which do not affect the use of the products. This is very rare however minor scratches or marks on some products are seen as acceptable in the industry. We reserve the right to assess products on an individual basis. Glassware may have very minor bubbles within the glass, this is a part of the manufacturing process and cannot be avoided. This is rara and in most cases appears in 1 out of every 40 glasses on average. Minor bubbles or slight marks will not warrant refunds or replacements, unless determined by Giftware Direct.
Giftware Direct will gladly refund an order if your order arrives not as described or faulty. WE DO NOT REFUND DUE TO CHANGE OF MIND as our items are personalised and customised specifically for you.
We must be informed within 7 days of your order arriving damage or faulty for a refund to be applicable.
Any refund must be prior arranged with our staff and confirmed. We will provide a return number for your parcel.
Retun postage costs is to be paid by the buyer, and refunds will be processed only when goods are received back at our factory.
Giftware Direct will make the final decision if an item is faulty/not as described and determine if the level of issues warrants a refund or replacement.
If requesting a refund for any other reason there may be a processing fee deducted from your order value before refunding. This amount will vary depending on what stage your order is up to. This fee is in place to cover the cost of our graphic designer if your order has passed the artwork stage and also in place to cover any transactions fees by paymnt processors such as Afterpay & Credit card fees. An example of our fees are below.
Return/Refund Policy For STOCK Unpersonalised Products:
If you need to return an order of unpersonalised products for a refund, then you are eligable for a partial refund. The refund will be the cost of the order, minus a 15% restocking fee plus the cost of our freight deducted from the refund.
We absorb the cost of shipping orders to you, when receiving an order, however shipping costs money that us as a business would lose if we refund you, as we already paid for the postage. So if an order is returned to us, the refund will be less the freight to ship it to you, less 15% restocking fee, and the buyer is responsible for paying for the return postage also.
Refund is requested after Order is placed and artwork has been setup and sent = $20 fee to cover graphic designers time
Refund is requested after artwork is approved/order in production = If your order has already been produced a refund is not available. We will assist in offering a discounted remake price if you need your order remade with different personalisation details. This is also the case if artwork is approved incorrectly and production commences.
Refund of payments - If a payment is made by Bank transfer there are no fees involved for Giftware Direct as the seller so the full amount is refunded.
Paypal refunds the sellers fees to Giftware Direct if a refund is processed so the full amount is refunded.
Refunds being processed for orders paid with Afterpay may have the transaction fee removed from the refund amount as afterpay does not refund this amount to Giftware Direct. This may vary from 8%-10% of the order value depending on the total order value.
Details of customers through www.giftwaredirect.com.au will not be disclosed to any other company for research or for marketing purposes.
